Some of your go-to practices may actually be spiritual bypasses. You know the tired old phrases like:

• “You create your reality.”
• 
“Fix your thoughts if you are in pain.”
• “This is all an illusion.”

Why can’t we simply be more present to each other’s woundings, hold space and stand in the fire with them? Can we not patiently listen in silence or try to fix it? Can we open our hearts to express compassion and empathy?

Growth may even often occur as follows: we expand into something awesome, we feel inspired and on track. then boom, we are right back in the thick of it once again.

To expand, you must contract.

It’s just how life works!

Many people are now undergoing major growth transitions.  What with broken dreams, broken hearts, broken contracts, wake up calls, identity crisis, it’s time for a major shift.  Now is the time for you to shed your old, too tight skins. With these powerful and demanding junctures in life, you are called to stretch your comfort levels, develop trust, courage and will power in what wants to be birthed in your life.

Labor pains are highly unpleasant but the soon-to-be mom looks forward to her baby’s arrival and accepts the pain that she must undergo for that miracle to occur.

Think of your own re-birthing in the same way. You would shift from self-induced suffering to expectancy, your willingness would strengthen your courage and ignite your self-understanding so you would be likelier to take the right action.

While it’s never easy, you would also be more able to accept the loss of attachments and cooperate with the changes that want to take you to the next level. This is a paradigm shift ready to happen.

So, when things get tough, take a deep breath instead of reacting from fear and projections, just sit with it and question the motives of change.

Ask it what it is revealing to you. If you willingly study yourself and your life objectively, you will know what must go, what must open and what must be birthed.

Once you do this, you can meet the storm as an ally not a curse and see the role you played in calling it in. The lightning then has a direction; it will burn up the dead wood versus extinguishing your life force. But always let yourself feel and grieve the loss, let your heart be torn open as it’s a vital ingredient in the alchemy. You must move through it so that you can claim the serene distillation of heart and soul that awaits you at the other side. This is how your power finds you.

Just show up for yourself time and time again.
 Be patient with your growth; you are worth it.
