The third eye chakra, an energy centre located above and between the eyebrows, is deemed the sole place for your ability to know what to do as you make choices throughout the day and life in general.
The solar plexus chakra, another area that helps in the decision making process, lies in the stomach above your navel. Your gut instinct resides here.
Interestingly, you likely tend to grip this area and hold yourself tightly. You may breathe shallowly, thus restricting the flow to your place of personal power. When this area is imbalanced, you may hold back on taking action and express yourself in a timid manner. If balanced, you have the courage to act as you are filled with self-confidence and high self-esteem.
By breathing more deeply into your solar plexus chakra and letting the belly expand as you inhale, you can loosen up any tightness and promote expansion.
Try these two exercises prior to making a decision
- Ask yourself the following. Which decision takes me further along my path?Which decision takes me further away from it?
- Imagine both scenarios in as much detail as you can. Take yourself through each one in turn and tune into your body’s response. Do you sense a feeling of joy, lightness and excitement? Or does your stomach start to churn or tighten? When you decide which way feels right to you, then simply take one step at a time. Making a list while clearly visualizing your future can be a powerful way to manifest the scenario in your actual life.
Trust in your inner guidance as it will always take you further down your true path. The more you connect with Self, the more you can access your inner reservoir of knowledge.
